Haughley Park is an enclosed private estate just 5 minutes off the A14 which combines blocks of runnable mixed woodland and open parkland, with a good path network and plenty of line and point features.

Scale 1:6,000, 5 m contours - updated – Summer 2013 . Maps will be over-printed with course & control descriptions – free bags available if needed

Site Rules:

Fences, though generally of no great height, must only be crossed at mapped gates/stiles, or other marked crossing points.
As sheep graze the open parkland areas dogs must remain in the assembly area and must be on a leash and under control at all times.
Parts of the parkland are marked out of bounds, and such restrictions must be observed

There are courses suitable for all ages and abilities. Beginners are most welcome. Do please ask at the information point near the registration tent for any help you need.

Directions:

A14 Westbound: Leave the A14 at Junction 49 (Signposted Stowmarket A1308, Haughley & Wetherden). Follow signs for Haughley Park . At the roundabout at the top of the slip road turn right over the A14 and at the next roundabout take the exit signposted to Haughley, Wetherden and Haughley Park . Stay on this road (the old A14), past the Little Chef and Haughley New Street , for 2.5 miles. Haughley Park is signposted on the left

A14 Eastbound: Leave the A14 at Junction 47a (Signposted Wetherden and Haughley Park ). Follow this road for 2 miles. Haughley Park is on the right.

After The Event:

When leaving the event, because of the restricted access at J47A, you must turn right on leaving the park and rejoin the A14 at Stowmarket (junction 49).
