Map/Terrain: | We are using the Western end of a large, mixed conifer / hardwood forest between Thetford and Diss known as Thorpe Woodlands. As well as the usual well-defined path network it has lots of chalk pits, holly trees and box thickets as challenging point features.
Directions: |
The event will only be signed from the junction on the A1066 at TL940 831 between Thetford and Garboldisham and on the approaches to the parking area off the minor road. |
||||||||||||||||||
Parking: | Parking will be along a wide forest road (F76). Start will be adjacent to this track and the finish is 900m away. The forest to the west of the assembly area and south of the main road through the forest will be used for the competition and are therefore strictly out of bounds. Please park as directed by the marshals. |
||||||||||||||||||
Dogs: | Dogs to be kept under control at all times. Please note that the minor road through the competition area is very fast. We recommend that dogs are kept on a lead
