Map/Terrain: We are using the Western end of a large, mixed conifer / hardwood forest between Thetford and Diss known as Thorpe Woodlands. As well as the usual well-defined path network it has lots of chalk pits, holly trees and box thickets as challenging point features.
Directions:

The event will only be signed from the junction on the A1066 at TL940 831 between Thetford and Garboldisham and on the approaches to the parking area off the minor road.

From West – From Thetford take the A1066. After approx 4 miles continue straight on following the Brown Camping and Caravan sign. After approx 1.5 miles turn left on to the wide forest road (F76).

From East - Travelling on the A1066 approx 4.3 miles from Garboldisham turn right at Brown Camping and Caravan sign. Then at the T junction turn right again, then after approx 1.5 miles turn left on to the wide forest road (F76).

From the North -  Turn left off the A11 on to the B1111 (SP East Harling).  Turn right just after the church in East Harling, and right again at the junction after 1.5 miles. After another mile turn right on to the wide forest road (Bridgham Lane).

Please take care approaching the event from the A1066 as the minor road through the heath will be crossed by runners during the event.
Parking:

Parking will be along a wide forest road (F76). Start will be adjacent to this track and the finish is 900m away. The forest to the west of the assembly area and south of the main road through the forest will be used for the competition and are therefore strictly out of bounds. Please park as directed by the marshals.
