Thank you for all coming out and orienteering around Kings Forest. It makes the planning of the courses and overcoming the challenges worthwhile. Kings is a lovely area to run apart from the brambles!!
My courses tried to get as many of you as I could to the more runnable parts of the forest. The technicality of the terrain isn’t high but my response was to try to twist you around during your course.
We lost many areas of the forest due to environmental and felling restrictions which did not help my final routes. Thank you to Will and Kevin for their work on the event and I hope to work with them again soon .

A big thank you to Clive and Will for making my first time controlling for SUFFOC so pleasant an exercise. Everything went so smoothly, well done to Will and all of you, who helped on the day and for turning out on such a cold day.
Clive should be congratulated on his excellent courses that managed to get the most out of the best parts of the forest that were available, avoiding the worst of the bramble. I only heard compliments at the end which is a great tribute. I think everyone had a great time.
