It was terrific to see such a good turnout for competition making it the best supported East Anglian round to date. I was pleased to see such a large number of school competitors competing for a club. NOR and SUFFOC managed to achieve excellent coverage in this area. I hope we can get as good a turnout for the EA School Championships in June.
A word about the scoring.
All competitors score points and these are included in the course results. The top eight scores for each club count towards the first team total but three M/W14- must be included and no more than three can score on one course. I have scored second teams as I felt the turnout justified it but not applied the last rule. Strictly speaking no club scored a full second team.
The result was a narrow victory for SOS over NOR.
